A portrait session, even though it may be formal, can be a great time to bring out the best in my client’s personality and sense of humor. Especially if we move from the studio to the outdoors, if appropriate, to capture the beauty of our surroundings.

My favorite portrait sessions which are the most enjoyable are family portraits with no boundaries. Typically we meet at a park, Squantz Pond, or better yet, a school playground where your family can play in a great environment while I follow with my camera capturing a fun photo session. It’s casual, fun and lot’s of laughter and great memories. My most vivid family portrait took place last fall with a complete family from age 1 to 30 years of age with 10 of them swinging on monkey bars, swings, slides, and having the time of their life with much laughter and memories.
